Honey Due

Honey Due was painted with dear friends held in love and in memory. Sarah was as close as one can be to childbirth when I made the trip to photograph her and her husband Scott together with their unborn daughter, Honey. Much of this painting’s tonality was invented. I think it reached a spiritual place where logic and reason have very little to do with anything. It has an unexpectedly interesting history, as it will be aboard a time capsule as a digital file being transported to the moon.
